Admissions

The following guide will help to explain the processes that you need to complete to apply for your child to come to St Aidan’s Catholic Academy.

Pre October Apply online through Sunderland Local Authority.
October 31st October is the closing date for applicants.
March Letters sent to parents informing them of offer.
May Members of staff visit primary schools to meet with students joining the school in September. Welcome pack given out.
May Half Term Letter sent to Parents / Carers informing them of Form Group and copies of data forms to be completed.
June Induction Evening for students and parents.  Opportunity to purchase school uniform.
July Three day induction for all students starting in September.  Joint Mass with St Anthony’s on the last day.
September Students start Year 7.  Year 7 school photograph.
