St Anthony’s and St Aidan’s Moving On Conference 2017

Thursday 23rd June 2017 saw our Moving On Conference.  Students got the opportunity to hear from higher education institutions and alternative pathways to help and guide them in their choices post Sixth Form.

St. Aidan’s offers a vibrant and engaging environment for learning.  We actively encourage our students to develop a love of academic excellence so that they can go on to become active and engaged citizens.

Our curriculum is wide and varied and we have specialist teachers in all subject areas to ensure students get the best possible first teaching in their chosen subjects.  We offer both A-Levels and BTEC qualifications so there is accessible courses for a wide ability range.  We are also keen to enhance the whole person and have started all of our lower sixth students on the volunteering pathway, VInspired.  We have a thriving student council and students are keen to participate in additional duties to enhance the physical aesthetic of their environment as well as the learning environment.

St. Aidan’s Sixth Form is keen to develop academic, creative and independent learners.  Our lessons are engaging and students progress well in lessons.

Please spend some time looking through our documents and familiarising yourself with the courses that we offer and the opportunities that your son will have.
