As a Catholic community we have a responsibility to enshrine in our treatment of people, those values that lie at the heart of the Gospel message. In order to discern these values we look to the example and teaching of Christ.

Anti Bullying
St Aidan’s Catholic Academy was recently awarded the Young People’s Charter Mark for effective Anti-Bullying procedures in school. In December we were also awarded a BIG award through the Bullying Intervention Group.
Safeguarding
Parents should be aware that the school would take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its students.
In cases where the school has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to significant harm, ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse, staff have no alternative but to follow the procedures outlined in the Child Protection Policy and inform Children Services\Social Care of their concern.
