'The school is a cohesive community where mutual respect and forgiveness are clearly evident, where behaviour is never less than very good.'Ofsted

We have an active Governing Body which aims to share the strategic responsibility of promoting high educational standards and the Catholic ethos of the school. We work as a team in collaboration with Mr Shepherd and all staff members.

The Governing Body has representation from many stakeholders: Foundation governors are appointed by the Bishop, parent governors are elected by parents of current students, staff governors are elected by all staff and there are representatives from the LEA. All Governors are volunteers and receive no pay, including expenses.

The full Governing Body meets twice a term (business and development meetings) but the many sub committees (eg resources, curriculum, safeguarding, catholic life, admissions) meet more regularly.
