Futsal Monday and Wednesday Sports Hall Mr Gray Futsal is open to all students regardless of ability and is a great way for both current footballers to improve their skills and new players to experience a fun and fast paced sport. Futsal shares similarities to football, however focuses on improving players ball control and dribbling skills by encouraging players to perform skills made famous by players such as Ronaldo, Messi and Ronaldinho. Who all grew up playing the sport. Students attending will also have the opportunity to be selected to represent the school in local tournaments and fixtures.

Basketball after school club is a perfect opportunity for students, of all ages and abilities, to develop their understanding of the rules of basketball and their basketball performance through fun and competitive games.  If you attend the club, there will also be a chance for you to represent the school in local basketball competitions organised with nearby schools.

Rugby club offers the opportunity for beginners and more experienced players the chance to develop their skills and rugby performance. At St Aidans we are trying to increase the level of participation in rugby and that is why we are in partnership with Ashrooke and get to use their fantastic facilities. Attending the club will give you the opportunity to learn new skills, play competitive rugby matches and be part of Sunderland Rugby Club.

Badminton club is open to all year groups and all levels of ability. This is a fun club where you will have the opportunity to develop your badminton performance, play fun and competitive games. The school enters badminton teams into local competitions, so attending the club will increase your chances of being part of the team.
